1. Non user replaceable battery, battery is non removable.

2. Lack of video playback decoders, no codec support for AVI, MKV, XviD formats and AC3-enabled DivX. The Movies player wont recognise them.

3. Can add or remove homescreen panes to a total of seven panes and set any of them as default, but the order they lie, cannot be changed.

4. Homescreen panes, you can't have more than seven panes at any given time.

5. On the Vellamo browser benchmark, Z1 is beaten by Xperia Z Ultra and LG G2.

7. Smart Connect app doesn't work with NFC.

26. MHL-powered microUSB port hosts HDMI connections to an external monitor but there is a hitch, microUSB port and the docking pins are located on the same side of the phone. While docking the phone to charge, throwing videos over HDMI, there will be a fight between you and your phone, cause finding an easy pose to position will be hard cause micro-USB will cause the dock to move to and fro. Even an L-shaped micro-USB wont help you unless you elevate whole the set.
